Over the past couple years I have wanted to purchase a grain mill, but the grains and recipes held me back. I didn't know what to use or how to use it! I have always loved baking, but using freshly milled flour was overwhelming!
My son, who is 13, has dealt with constipation almost his entire life. We switched to gluten free and it helped but didn't completely resolve his issues. After lots of research, I wanted to give freshly milled flour a try to see if it could help him. I was in it for the nutrients alone, but if it could help his regularity that would be amazing!
It was such a blessing to stumble onto the instagram page for Unsifted. I watched every reel, every story, and decided this was it! I ordered the started kit and felt so encouraged because I would have everything I needed to get started right away! A week later and my package arrived!!
In the first week we made Donut Muffins, Bagels, Pancakes, Blueberry Muffins, Sandwich Bread, and French Toast. Every recipe was delicious! Even my very picky son, who didnt like the flavor of whole wheat from the store absolutely LOVES everything I have made with the grain blends! We are hooked!!
Icing on the cake is, I have seen a huge difference in his regularity. It has only been 2 weeks.
My parents were gifted a loaf and I now have them hooked!
