Fresh Flour Monster Cookies
Monster Cookies are delicious and versatile! Need a festive treat? Simply use holiday specific M&M's and voila! They are perfect for an easy afterschool snack or treat for your coworkers. These are always a favorite!

If you ever happen to have extra cookies, we recommend freezing them in a freezer bag because they stay fresh for weeks. We even like to pull out frozen cookies and eat them cold for a quick afternoon snack!

Unsifted® Monster Cookies

old-fashioned rolled oats |
½ tsp |
baking soda |
¼ tsp |

½ cup |
unsalted butter, softened |
½ cup |
creamy peanut butter |
½ cup |
granulated sugar |
½ cup |
packed brown sugar |
1 large |
egg |
2 tsp |
vanilla extract |
1 cup |
semi-sweet chocolate chips |
½ cup |
M&M® candies |
To taste |
flake sea salt, for tops of cookies |
Instructions:
1. Mill the fresh flour
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Set WonderMill® dial to “Pastry”
- Mill ⅓ cup Dessert Blend
2. Combine dry ingredients
- In a medium bowl, add the unsifted flour (about ⅔ cups)
- Add 1 ½ cups oats
- Add ½ tsp baking soda
- Add ¼ tsp salt
- Stir until thoroughly combined and set aside
3. Mix butters + sugars
- In a large bowl, add ½ cup softened butter
- Add ½ cup peanut butter
- Add ½ cup sugar
- Add ½ cup packed brown sugar
- Using an electric mixer, mix on high speed until smooth and slightly fluffy (about 1-2 minutes); be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl
4. Add eggs + vanilla
- To the sugar mixture (large bowl), add 1 large egg
- Add 2 tsp vanilla
- Mix until well combined
5. Stir in remaining ingredients
- Add dry ingredients from medium bowl into large bowl
- Mix until just combined (be careful not to overmix)
- Add 1 cup chocolate chips (or other mix-ins, see right)
- Add ½ cup M&M® candies (or other mix-ins, see right)
- Gently stir with a spoon or spatula until just combined
6. Shape + Bake
- Lightly grease baking sheet
- Shape cookies into 2 Tbsp balls
- Place on greased baking sheet, 2” apart
- Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are barely light brown (they will finish setting up on the pan when removed from oven)
- Remove from oven and let rest 5-10 min on pan
- Optional: Sprinkle flaked sea salt on top of warm cookies

Cooled cookies may be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or frozen for up to 3 months in a freezer bag.
